NetQoS is the Fastest Growing Technology Company in Texas
Deloitte Announces Technology Fast 50 Winners with the Network Performance Experts Ranking Number One

AUSTIN, Texas — September 8, 2004 — NetQoS Inc., the network performance experts, announced today their number one ranking in the Fastest Growing Technology Companies in Texas by Deloitte & Touche USA LLP. NetQoS tops the list with a revenue growth rate of 9,400 percent over five years.

The Texas Crescent Technology Fast 50 is the only awards program that ranks technology companies located throughout Texas by revenue growth over a five-year period. The Fast 50 program is presented by Deloitte & Touche, in association with Haynes and Boone, NASDAQ and Comerica Bank.

“To succeed during prosperous times is one thing; to succeed in adversity is much more challenging, and that’s exactly what the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 winners have done,” said Skip Moore, Regional Managing Partner for the Technology, Media & Telecommunications Group at Deloitte. “We applaud NetQoS for its tremendous accomplishments during economically challenging times and for being the fastest growing technology company in Texas .”

NetQoS is a provider of network performance products and services. Founded in 1999, the company analyzes and optimizes the performance of applications running over wide-area networks.

"We are honored to have won this prestigious award,” said Joel Trammell, CEO at NetQoS. “In a time when IT organizations are being required to do more with less, our performance management products and services have optimized the networks of global enterprises, driving our top ranking in the Texas Crescent Technology Fast 50."

Winners are selected based on the percentage of growth in fiscal year revenues from 1999 to 2003. To be considered, Fast 50 entrants must have met the following criteria: Have revenues of at least $50,000 in 1999 and at least $1,000,000 in 2003; be public or private companies, headquartered in Texas ( subsidiaries and divisions are not eligible unless they have some public ownership and are separately traded); be a "technology company" defined as owning proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues (using other companies' technology in a unique way does not qualify) and/or devoting a significant proportion of revenues to research and development of technology.
